Our approaches to well-being are steeped in evidenced based mindful practices, supporting innate healing capabilities within all human beings. Services are conducted in a group format, cultivating connections and healthy relationships further supporting well-being and skillful living.
NCWC does not dispense drugs, nor support medication as a stand-alone approach to mental well-being. Program participants are screened prior to involvement, those needing medication assistance, medication review, or more structure than our scope of practice provides are referred to appropriate services.
Learn to get out of your own way and live in the flow of life.
Americans suffer in record numbers; you are not alone. Anxiety, depression, stress, shame, and disconnection are pervasive conditions during these trying times. If there is good news about human misery, it is that most of our suffering is made up; a product of our minds. We help participants understand how their minds work and how they can detach and manage difficult thoughts and feelings while engaging in deeply held values. Connection and meaning in life are important aspects of well-being. We can help.
Make some discoveries.
Our programs draw from the cutting-edge science of mindfulness and self-compassion including evidenced based practices of Compassion Focused Therapies (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Combined with ancient wisdom traditions, NCWC’s holistic approach to well-being provides you with practical skills for handling difficult thoughts and feelings in healthy ways, while helping re-connect you with deeply-held personal values.
